I've had a look at the three suggested sites - Plaxo, Remember The Milk and Jotlet. At the most basic level these are online calendar sites which allow you to enter daily appointments and maintain a task list. You then have a range of options. You can export your calendars/task lists to a handheld device, share them with other people (your family and friends or work colleagues), and get reminders. Plaxo allows you to connect with other people on the Internet and share content that you have created, and synchronise your Outlook calendar with the Plaxo one.
I have to admit I didn't see the point of bothering with any of these for personal use. However, an online calendar would be great for collaboration for groups spread across a wide area.
